Control Network Adapter Responses to a WINS Query (Windows NT/2000/XP)

In computers with multiple network adapters this setting specifies whether to send all IP addresses or only one IP address in response to a WINS query request.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'SingleResponse' using the settings below.

Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

Note: This setting should be enabled (1) when network adapters are configured for load balancing.
